Opening a conference allows me to set the tone—giving the audience a powerful new perspective that helps them engage more deeply with the rest of the event. The days of delivering a canned speech or a one-size-fits-all approach are behind us.

To prepare for a pre-booking call, I invest time researching the client’s industry, diving into their website for things like values statements, recent changes, mergers, and news. Once I’m confirmed as the speaker, I roll up my sleeves and schedule at least one in-depth call to understand the specific goals of the event and how I can best align my session to meet those objectives.”
